Kozhikode: As part of the preparations for the state-level Artorium organized by the Ideal Association for Minority Education (IAME), scheduled to be held on November 7 and 8, regional-level Artoriums conducted across various parts of the state are moving toward a colorful conclusion. The vibrant competitions have ignited a new wave of cultural enthusiasm across IAME schools, showcasing the artistic and creative potential of students.
The Artorium series began with an inaugural event at Al Maquar English Medium School, Taliparamba, inaugurated by renowned poet Veerankutty. Spread across eight regions, the events held throughout September and October featured a wide range of on-stage and off-stage competitions, capturing the attention of audiences and providing a platform for students to express their creative talents.
The regional Artoriums in Kannur, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, and Central regions have already been successfully completed. The Malappuram regional event on September 27 at Izzathul Islam Higher Secondary School, Kuzhimanna; the Palakkad regional Artorium on October 4 at S.A. World School, Parakkulam; the Central regional event on the same day at Arafa Public School, Pezhakkappilly; and the Thrissur regional Artorium on September 27 at I.G. English School, Chirakkal.
Students who have excelled at the regional level will qualify to participate in the state-level Artorium. Each venue witnessed spirited performances and artistic displays that inspired both participants and audiences alike, energizing the school communities across the regions.
The upcoming regional Artoriums will be held in Kozhikode, Kasaragod, and South regions. The Kozhikode regional Artorium is scheduled for October 14 and 15 at Markaz Public School, Koyilandy; the Kasaragod regional event will be held on October 18 at Mujammau English Medium Senior Secondary School, Trikkarippur and the South regional Artorium will take place on the same day at Majlis English Medium School, Kayamkulam.
With active participation and leadership from the IAME state committee, the Artoriums continue to serve as a vibrant platform for nurturing creativity, cultural expression, and artistic excellence among students — setting the stage for a grand state-level finale in November.
