About IAME

Ideal Association for Minority Education (IAME) is a confederation of more than 400 English medium schools run by the managements of minority communities in India. It is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The main motive behind the formation of this confederation is to play a pivotal role in the social and educational transformation through systematic and quality educational programmes. The singular objective of this consortium is uplifting communities at the grassroots through socio- educational programmes. Right from the beginning IAME has been in the vanguard of school education as an umbrella body playing a pivotal role in empowering schools by raising the bar of quality in their overall performance and helping them in their quest to be on par with 21st century schools. The schools affiliated to IAME follow CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, NIOS or various State curriculum.

To Provide strategic leadership to all member institutions to become centre of excellence through comprehensive educational policies,standards, publications, organisational development, collaboration ,technology integration, research and development.

Objectives

Work as a confederation of schools run by the minority communities of India.

Provide effective guidelines and consultation for its member schools to deliver quality education

Prepare the schools as centres of excellence by providing continuous training for various segments like Managers, Principals, Teachers, Parents, Students and supporting staff.

Prepare and publish academic and non-academic tools and materials to enhance the performance of the learning community.

Conduct co-curricular activities and competency enhancement programmes at various levels.

Conduct research programmes in socio-educational fields.

Design and implement socio-educational projects for uplifting the society especially the backward communities.

Prepare and implement institutional empowerment programmes.

Provide effective guidance and counselling for students, youth, and job aspirants.

Help the backward communities to utilize the governmental and non-governmental assistances and projects effectively.

Activities

Quality renewal is at the heart of all activities that IAME launches. Times change and the educational landscape follows suit. Quality perishes if there is no focused effort to renew it. IAME conducts continuous quality improvement training programmes for student’s community, teacher’s community, principals and institutional managers to expose them to avant-garde ideas in education.

Once affiliated to IAME, the schools will enjoy 24x7 professional support. The professional support ranges from expert advice to training and development of academic and non-academic communities. IAME is the lifeline to the affiliates on matters which need educational expertise to handle.

IAME employs a pool of resourceful people to visit affiliated schools on a regular basis

Affiliated schools have access to a host of well-researched, well-edited, need-based courseware, other books and academic journals for classes 1 to X.
